FINE appoints Ra'ed Fanous as Director of Sales and Marketing for Lower Gulf, Iran and Yemen |

FINE, the market leaders in the Middle East hygienic paper industry, has announced the appointment of Ra’ed Fanous to the position of Director of Sales and Marketing for Lower Gulf, Iran and Yemen (LGIY) Fanous had earlier held the post of Deputy General Manager with FINE.
An MBA from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, Fanous joined FINE as a sales executive in 1991. Over the years, he has played a major role in building the company into the region’s leading manufacturers of hygienic paper. In his new role as Director of Sales and Marketing for (LGIY), Fanous will be reporting to Peter Janho, Chief Area Officer for Arabian Peninsula and Iran.
“Fanous’ dedication and proactive sales approach have been instrumental in making FINE the market leader it is today,” said Peter Janho. “In his 15-year tenure at FINE, Fanous has displayed a unique ability to devise and implement winning sales and marketing strategies. By assigning him more responsibility and giving him greater operational freedom, we believe we can better leverage his dynamism and ingenuity to drive the company to greater heights.”
“In his new role, Fanous’ core responsibilities include providing leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales and marketing departments for LGIY region while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals, and identifying industries and target companies that will provide the largest return on investment through the application of cost management service. We are looking to fully utilize his knowledge and vast experience in the region,” Janho added.
Commenting on his promotion, Fanous said, “I consider this an honour as well as a challenge, and I am determined to repay the confidence and trust the management has shown in me by further strengthening the company’s position in the LGIY region. One of my immediate priorities will be to ensure that the company develops the necessary capability to realize its business objectives. Identifying new growth areas and formulating and implementing sales and marketing strategies for LGIY region will also be high on my agenda.”
