Dubai's government said Monday it will take full control of Dubai Bank, a local Islamic lender owned by the conglomerate of emirate's ruler, in order to keep the bank afloat and protect deposit holders.
The government said it will inject capital into Dubai Bank, without saying how much, a move that will likely dilute current shareholders and allow for a complete takeover.
