DTCM showcases Dubai's attraction in India expo

For the fourth successive year, the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and its 29 co-participants showcased Dubai's attractions and tourism product offerings at the South Asia's biggest travel and tourism exhibition held in New Delhi from January 27 to 29 at the Pragati Maidan.
SATTE is considered the biggest and finest travel exhibition of India and South Asia. The exhibition is the first of its kind event featuring buyer-seller meet in this region.
Talal Al Suwaidi, Head of Region India, Middle East & Southern / Eastern Africa at DTCM's Overseas Promotions and Inward Missions Department, said, "We are pleased to be a part of SATTE-2011. India is a strategic market for Dubai and has been one of the top-five source markets for leisure and business visitors. We are hopeful that our new marketing initiatives and participation at key trade fairs like SATTE will further boost inward traffic into Dubai from India."
The Dubai-India relations have been showing signs of fast growth due to the keenness and expansion of economies. India has remained one of the largest trading partners of Dubai and has the two-way trade has been posting impressive year-on-year growth.
