WAMAD International signs with eHosting DataFort to provide end user remote management services |

 WAMAD International, a leading regional IT and professional services company has signed an agreement with eHosting DataFort, a managed hosting, technology and IT security services company, to provide end user remote management services to companies in the region.
As the regional distributors for MATRIX42 products, WAMAD International has signed with eHosting DataFort to deploy MATRIX42's Empirum Suite to remotely manage the end users PC's, notebooks, PDA's and other devices.
The Empirum Suite of management software for networked devices allows companies to manage servers, desktops, laptops and mobile devices in a highly efficient and organised manner. The Suite simplifies and automates tasks for IT staff and provides greater management control by increasing productivity and reducing costs.
"Empirum's uniqueness is in its ability to manage heterogeneous infrastructure. The tool is completely hardware-and-operating-system independent, which gives it a distinct advantage in the world of today," said Graham McIntyre, WAMAD International's Business Development Manager and Delivery Service. "With Empirum there is absolutely no need for imaging and this dramatically cuts the service delivery cycle. We are proud of this major achievement in partnership with eHosting DataFort and we look forward to working together with them to extend the remote end-user management service to other customers in the region," he added.
As specified in the agreement, eHosting DataFort will utilise MATRIX42's Empirum products to manage new software releases, test and lunch new patches and manage the inventory of hardware, software, licenses and operating systems. Empirum allows eHosting DataFort to remotely control any user device, including the ability to restore user workstations automatically after hardware or operating system failure as a result of user settings and personal configurations. This translates to a shortened resolution time for any user problems from the eHosting DataFort help desk.
"This partnership with WAMAD International enables us to expand our customer base within the UAE and in the entire Middle East and Africa region," said Kuldeep Bhattangar, eHosting DataFort's Business Development Manager. "Our service offering for existing customers will be greatly enhanced with this partnership. Empirum tools are already used by major service providers globally. German based T-Systems, a managed service provider spin-off from Deutsche Telecoms, is utilizing the tools to manage over 180,000 devices worldwide.
