Secure Computing announces Regional Sales Director for MEA |

 Secure Computing Corporation (NASDAQ: SCUR), a leader in enterprise gateway security, today announced the appointment of Ray Kafity as Regional Sales Director for the Middle East and African region. Ray’s appointment further strengthens the commitment of Secure Computing to the importance and future growth of the territory.
“Ray joins Secure Computing with extensive experience from the Middle Eastern and African market,” commented Andrew Philpott, Secure Computing’s VP of EMEA. “Ray is a recognisable face in these regions and has an excellent reputation and pedigree for proven results.”
Ray joins Secure Computing with over 25 years of technology experience, having held the position of General Manager of BlueCoat Systems, Middle East, where he built the regional team and channel to achieve over performance against quota for 14 consecutive quarters. Prior to joining BlueCoat, Ray was Director of Sales for Lucent Technologies and previous roles also include VP of Service Provision, Iridium Middle East Corporatation and General Manager of Newbridge Networks (Middle East). Ray has also worked extensively for IBM both in the Middle East and the USA.
