Important International Medical Scientific Congress in Dubai |

An important Medical Congress and Exhibition will be held in Dubai under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and Industry.
The venue is organized by the Emirates Neuro-Science Society, a sub committee of the Emirates Medical Committee.
The Congress as well as the accompanying exhibition will take place in Dusit Hotel in Dubai for three days (From 28/10/2006 till 30/11/2006).
27 visiting Lecturers and renowned figures in the field of Neuroscience will be delivering their presentations and discussions during the congress. There will be participations from USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Australia, Iran, Egypt, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan and Syria.
Locally, 11 lecturers and professors from UAE are also participating. Local contributors are from Sheikh Rashid Hospital and Neuro Spinal Hospital in Dubai, Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, and Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
Due to the importance of presented subjects, and the prominence of lecturers, an attendance rate that exceeds 400 Doctors is expected.
The opening Ceremony will take place in Dusit Hotel at 08:00h am by a speech on behalf of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, followed by the inauguration speech of Emirates Neuroscience Society. This will be followed by the opening ceremony of the Scientific and trade exhibition where 25 companies are presenting the newest developments in the fields of Neurosciences and surgery.
Some very advanced devices are exhibited for the first time in UAE.
The First day of the conference is assigned for two major fields of Neuroscience, namely neural tumors and Neuro Vascular diseases.
23 Lectures and discussions will be presented in the first congress day which start at 08:30 am and continues till 06:40 pm (18:40h).
Media and Press can meet the lecturers and participant during the conference breaks. Adequate time for press meetings with visiting professors, lecturers and organizing committee members, will be from 01:00 - 02:30 pm (13:00 - 14:30h) where a medical translator will be made available.
The Media committee will issue a daily briefing resuming the congress activities and major discussions and development. |
