Macdonald & Company, the leading recruitment consultancy focusing solely on the property industry, has announced that it will publish the first independent Middle East Salary Guide for the real estate & property industry at Cityscape 2006. The company will be participating at Cityscape 2006, which runs from December 4-6, and will offer consultancy services to both property companies and real estate professionals during the exhibition.
The Salary Guide aims to give those involved in the property industry in the Middle East an overview of current packages. It follows the annual Macdonald & Company & RICS Salary Survey, which is the leading survey of remuneration and benefits within the United Kingdom. Data for the guide has been derived from three primary sources – ‘New Pay’, the pay being achieved by relevant candidates placed by Macdonald & Company, ‘Current Pay’, the pay being achieved by relevant candidates registering with the company and data gained by research within a limited number of organisations.
“The Middle East Salary guide has been produced to act as a guide for employers who are recruiting or reviewing current salary levels of existing staff and for candidates looking to move into or within the region,” said William Buck, International Director, Macdonald & Company.
With offices in the UK, Dubai, Hong Kong, South Africa and Australia (opening this month), Macdonald & Company - the only recruitment company approved by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors - is keen on leveraging the thriving property market in the Middle East. The company will be participating at Cityscape 2006 in a bid to add to the 60,000 international candidates it has on its database and will be providing on-site consultancy at the exhibition to employers and employees from across the region.
“Cityscape is an important event, and its international profile ensures participation of leading worldwide investors, property developers and real estate agents. Having an extensive presence at the exhibition affords us an opportunity to reach out to this high-potential audience, and will enable us to create better brand awareness and establish business contacts,” said Matthew Taylor, International Director, Macdonald & Company. “At Cityscape, we intend to utilise the show’s platform to interact with leading players from the real estate industry on a one-to-one level and exchange ideas and perspectives on all issues pertaining to recruitment in the property sector.”
Macdonald & Company acts for a wide variety of clients including property developers, consultancies, funds, institutions, banks and property companies, and is constantly enhancing its reputation for providing a high quality, responsive, personal and confidential recruitment service worldwide. The company has built a high profile client base in the region, including IFA Hotels & Resorts, Gulf Finance House, Istithmar, DG Jones, EC Harris and Asteco.
