Itsalat continues expansion with new Dubai store |

Dubai: Mobile phone retailer Itsalat International (i2) is continuing its aggressive expansion throughout the Middle East with a new outlet on Dubai's Shaikh Zayed Road.
The City Tower I store is the company's latest venture following the simultaneous opening of four branches in Saudi Arabia last month.
The Saudi company sells mobile phones, PDAs, wireless technology, software and mobile phone accessories in stores on Naif Road, Airport Road, Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, American University of Dubai and store-in-store shops in CompuMe Gar-houd and Mall of the Emirates.
"Within the UAE, i2's role as a retailer is becoming more widely known, which is why we wanted to reinvigorate our retail concept, starting with our new outlet on Shaikh Zayed Road," said Yasser Zaidan, executive vice president of i2.
"Within the next fiscal year we will not only strengthen our retail network across the region, but also penetrate new markets."
Founded in 1993, i2 has 1,300 employees in 400 stores in 17 countries. |
