DUBAI: Exciting new features like chauffeur driven Cadillacs, free golf and 96-hour visas have been made part of stopover packages offered by the Emirates Airlines in a bid to promote the region as a tourist destination.
The new packages are valid from November one until October 31, 2007 and start from as little as $69 per person per night, sharing a double-room. Passengers can choose from an expanded range of 53 hotels and apartments, in the city and on the beach, an airline statement said.
The packages have been revamped and can now be pre-booked prior to departure. Customers can also avail of the packages on arrival at Dubai International Airport. The price includes buffet breakfast, a 96-hour visa, hotel transfers and personalised meet-and-assist upon arrival at Dubai International Airport.
The packages are available to all Emirates passengers regardless of class of travel. Ghaith Al Ghaith, Emirates Executive Vice President Commercial Operations Worldwide, said, “Emirates Dubai Stopovers packages have been one of our biggest selling points with sales increasing year on year.” |
