Dubai Sports Council have launched their official website www.dubaisportscouncil.org during brief ceremony at the Hyatt Grand Hotel yesterday morning.

Dr Ahmed Al Sharief, conveyed the greetings of Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, chairman of the Dubai Sports Council pointing out that their main objective is to enhance the march of the council to achieve its ultimate goals towards a true concept of professionalism and excellence.

“There is no doubt the successful performance depends on professionalism. Societies throughout history of mankind are inspired with development and progress to keep pace with the challenges of the new world in which sport has become phenomenal,” he said.

Meanwhile, Al Sharief said the first phase of the project is to launch the website in three languages; Arabic, English and French.

“Our effort will never turn into a traditional work aiming only at satisfying the requirements of launching a website and that is everything.

“We are using the modern technology to open new routes for sports marketing, promotion and communication to develop a new concept in the IT applications,” he said.
Former UAE rally driver Mohammed bin Sulayem was invited along with the other guest stars to cut the cake to mark the official launching of the website.
