More than a 100 Arab government officials in the high level delegation led by the Dubai School of Government, arrived in Vienna today to participate in the 7th Global Forum on Reinventing Government, to be held at the United Nations Headquarters in Vienna, Austria.
The four-day event, which will be held from 26-29 June, will examine best practices and alternative strategies for building trust in government.
The Dubai School of Government delegation includes HE Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, UAE minister of government sector development, in addition to Federal government under-secretaries and executives.
Also representing the Dubai School of Government at the Global Forum will be Nabil Alyousuf, Executive President of DSG and Dr.Yasar Jarrar, Executive Dean in addition to researchers, academics and experts on public policy in the UAE.The delegation also includes ministers from Tunisia, Morocco, Lebanon and Lybia.
The delegation will be sponsored by the National Bank of Dubai, with the Dubai Convention Bureau acting as a co-sponsor.
Prior to the Global Forum, the Dubai School of Government hosted two of six regional forums on reinventing government which looked at enhancing innovation in public administration, effective management of public policy, enhancing integrity, transparency and accountability in the public sector and reinventing the process of local governance. |
