The Dubai Metro, which is due to commence services on 9th September, will be opened with just 10 stations on the red line being ready for operation. Phil Blizzard spoke with H.E. Matter Al Tayer, Chairman & Executive Director, RTA, on the decisions to open which stations, the time frame for the remainder and why Jebel Ali station is not included in the initial phase.
