Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV) reached out to students in the Levant region by participating in the Jordan Education and Training Exhibition (JETE), one of the leading education exhibitions in the region held from 7-9 December, 2006 in Amman.
The region's premier education hub invited prospective higher-education students from across the Levant region to explore the vast range of programmes offered by institutions based there.
DKV today is home to the regional campuses of 17 universities from Australia, India, Pakistan, Iran, Russia, France, Belgium, UK, Canada, and Ireland.
Dr. Ayoub Kazim, Executive Director of Dubai Knowledge Village said:
"We were very happy to participate in the Jordan Education and Training Exhibition (JETE) to promote the Dubai Knowledge Village brand and to recruit students who are seeking world-class higher-education programmes offered by our business partners. Moreover, this educational event was a vital forum to showcase our partners that offer high-quality professional and vocational training programmes.'
Programmes of study offered by DKV-based institutions include post-graduate and graduate courses in diverse fields like business, engineering, IT, hospitality management, healthcare, medicine, filmmaking, mass communication, fashion design, animation, audio engineering and science.
A growing multi-cultural student community has led to DKV becoming a platform where diverse nationalities can interact and build cultural bridges. Students of 63 nationalities studied here in the 2005-2006 academic year. DKV's student body is currently over 8,500-strong.
