Dubai Internet City (DIC) will host Ahmed Hameed Al Mazroui, chairman of the board of trustees for UAE ICT fund, during the 'CEO Interact' to be held on June 11 at Madinat Jumeirah.
The CEO Interact, held every quarter to support DIC business partners, allows them to network with each other and benefit from shared expertise.
Jamal Abdulsalam, the Executive Director of Dubai Internet City, said: "DIC is always keen to support its business partners by hosting events that allow them to network with each other and enhance their knowledge, as well as benefiting from insights offered by experts.
Al Mazroui will present the fund's mission, vision, strategies and objectives, as well as the role it will play in developing the ICT sector in the UAE.
The fund, launched in April 2007, seeks to encourage R&D and innovation; promote education through sponsorships and financial support; organise and sponsor forums, symposiums, conferences and seminars; enter into international affiliation with foreign R&D establishments while meeting other requirements put forth by the UAE Supreme Committee for the Supervision of the Telecommunications Sector.
