Comprising three interactive segments, based on the Dubai Government Excellence Programme, the training sessions will introduce participants to new approaches and processes in dynamic thinking, creativity and result-oriented performance, while assisting them to manage innovation in a team-based environment.
The workshop will also demonstrate ways to cope with day-to-day challenges in the workplace to achieve superior levels of organizational excellence. Case studies will be used to develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal more effectively with the rapidly changing federal environment.
The assessments and feedback provided throughout the course will strengthen the ability of managers to negotiate, exert influence, gain co-operation from others, and create a work environment that values diversity.
The September training programme will also include an e-learning course with a focus on acquiring skills to manage technology for enhanced organizational performance.
In the future, DIHRD proposes to conduct a training workshop on leadership and supervision, in addition to a course on measurement of employee satisfaction.
DIHRD was set up in 2003 to train UAE national government employees with the skill sets to create a new vision for government thinking and practices.
