The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has presented an award to the Dubai-based Royal Arabian Tours for the Best Co-participants Workshop Presentation during the Dubai Road Shows in the Far East recently.

The DTCM Director Overseas Promotions, Mr. Khalifa Ali Buamaim, presented the memento to Mr. Naveen Saldanha, Managing Director of Royal Arabian Tours at the DTCM Head Office recently.

The department conducted the Dubai Road Shows in five Far East cities from May 21 to 30 with the support of 24 co-participants, including Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) and Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS).

The Dubai Road Shows were conducted Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Hong Kong and the Chinese city of Guangzhou. This was the first time the department had organized the road shows series of this scale in this region.

The Dubai delegation, comprising of 15 tour operators, six hoteliers, Dubai Department of Civil Aviation, Emirates Airlines, and DSS-DSF, were able to do networking and business exchanges with the Far Eastern travel trade industry players.

More than 800 representatives of travel industry attended these road shows which featured presentations, a mini exhibition and an international buffet and a raffle draw. Participants in each of the five cities had the chance to win a holiday trip to Dubai, generously supported by the co-sponsors, Bavaria Executive Suites, Emirates Airline, and Royal Arabian Tours.
