Officials thank sponsors for their steady support |

Dubai: Organisers of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) yesterday expressed thanks to their key sponsors who have made this year's events successful.
The DSS Media Centre said in a press statement that Modhesh Fun City has been loaded with new zones, great prizes and cool contests for children due to the continuous support of their sponsors, such as Etisalat, Dubai Refreshments Company, Emirates and Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
"DWTC has been a constant support for DSS, having hosted many of the activities. This year, their involvement has increased as sponsors of the expanded and bigger-than-before Modhesh Fun City," DSS organisers said.
A spokesperson for the company said the move is part of DWTC's ongoing commitment to promote Dubai as a complete business, leisure and tourism destination.
Dubai Refreshments Company, the sole franchisee and distributor for PepsiCo and Mirinda in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, is one of the 13 key sponsors of this year's summer fiesta.
Though the company has been supporting DSS since 2003, this is the first time that their brand Mirinda is sponsoring the annual summer event.
"Modhesh Fun City at the Dubai World Trade Centre will remain the key attraction offering Mirinda throughout DSS with Superman as well as other sponsoring brand Aquafina," DSS organisers said. |
