Panasonic, the leading global manufacturer of consumer electronics and home appliances, showcased its 103 inch plasma display- the world’s largest plasma display- in Dubai at the Al Murooj Rotana Hotel on August 10th, 2006.
The full HD plasma display offers crisp 1920 x 1080 resolution (1080 progressive) for unsurpassed clarity and detail. The incorporated Panasonic Real Black Drive System provides high contrast ratio in dark areas, achieving exceptionally deep and rich blacks with superb depth.
Asahiko Ono, GM, Systems Solutions, Panasonic Middle East said, “Panasonic is looking to raise profile of plasma technology by showcasing its versatility and cross-functionality. The new 103 inch display has been conceptualized to deal with increasing personal and institutional demand for high definition plasma displays, and will offer an exceptional viewing experience ideal for a diversity of applications.”
Panasonic’s plasma display TV range also offers a 65 inch model complemented by 50, 42 and 37 inch sizes, all geared towards maximum utilization of upcoming technology.
