Iranian Consul General meets 3 UAE officials |

Islamic Republic of Iran's Consul General to Dubai, Mohammad-Ja'far Khatibzadeh here on Wednesday met and conferred with Deputy Governor and Industries Minister, Deputy Mayor, and the new Passport Office Chief of Dubai, separately, IRNA reported.
According to a Wednesday report by Iran's Consular Office in Dubai, the Iranian Consul General and UAE official during the meetings sought ways for Dubai's investments in Iran, keeping in mind the high investment potentials in our country.
The Deputy Governor of Dubai said that Iran is UAE's friendly neighbor with broad investment potentials.
He added, "The residents of UAE are willing to make investments in various fields, particularly in construction of modern hotels." According to the report, Khatibzadeh in his meeting with the Deputy Mayor of Dubai, Hussain Lutah, too, exchanged ideas about new ways for bilateral cooperation, as well as more frequent visits of the two countries' officials, as effective measures aimed at deepening ties.
Lutah is scheduled to visit Tehran in response to an invitation extended to him by Tehran Mayor.
The Iranian Consul General in his meeting with the new head of Dubai's Passport Office Muhammad al-Marri, too, sought ways for further facilitating the Iranians' affairs in Dubai.
Al-Marri said during the meeting, "The Iranians are a great nation with a rich culture and civilization and the UAE can trust them in all possible fields." |
