Dubai Internet City wins Best Stand Award at South Africa's Futurex exhibition |

 DIC's stand was selected as the winner from a number of other companies that included global ICT leaders.

Futurex is South Africa's leading Information and Communications Technologies and Electronics (ICTE) exhibition that brings together representatives from the ICTE and business sectors to meet and discuss cutting-edge technologies, equipment, systems, services and business solutions critical to success in the e-business age.
DIC also presented its unique short-term office space leasing solution, firststeps@DIC, to South African businessmen at Futurex 2006. The facility helps ease market entry for companies looking to target the region.
firststeps@DIC eliminates the need for upfront investments usually required to set up a full-fledged office. With provisions of one-month, two-month, or year-long lease periods, companies are given the opportunity to test the viability of their business plan before creating a full-fledged presence in Dubai Internet City.
