Mohammed receives Brunei Sultan |

DUBAI - His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, in Dubai yesterday. Shaikh Mohammed and the Sultan discussed a number of issues including bilateral cooperation in the areas of trade and culture.
Sultan Bolkiah underlined the keenness of his country to broaden the scope of bilateral cooperation, noting that the UAE has made impressive strides in various spheres of development. He also hailed Dubai's success story, saying that its story is worth emulating.
The Sultan also commended the leadership of Shaikh Mohammed, noting that the emirate owes its tremendous success to Shaikh Mohammed's visionary leadership.
Later, Shaikh Mohammed held a banquet in honour of the Sultan and his accompanying delegation.
