Dubai to host 'Globoil International 2006' |

APRIL 13: Globoil, the International forum for Research, Analysis and Dissemination of Knowledge on Vegetable Oil & Related Industries in India since 1997 is being held at Dubai on April 22-23, 2006. Teflas Commodity Interface is celebrating 10 years of the forum by taking it international with extensive participation from delegates from over 30 countries. According to Kailash Singh, MD of Tefla’s, there has been enhanced interest in commodities in one of Asia’s fastest growing markets, Dubai. “The idea to host Globoil International in Dubai came after some important players in the global market wanted us, to create a forum outside India also,” Mr Singh said.
The Globoil International at Dubai being hosted at Hotel Renaissance Dubai will see deliberations on the following topics — Where are the Future Growth Markets?, Role of Funds in Oilseeds Complex, Biodiesel & its effects on Edible Oil Prices, Trends & Directions of Demand & Supply in The Middle East Region, Price Forecasting, Emerging Trends in the Asia Pacific, American and European Region. Eminent speakers at the two-day meet include Khalid Bin Kallban, MD of Dubai Investment, David Rutledge and CEO of Dubai Metal & Commodities Centre (DMCC).
