Dubai Financial Market receives Chairman of the Cairo & Alexandria Stock Exchange |

Mr. Essa Kazim, Director General, Dubai Financial Market received Magid Shawky Sourial, the Chairman of the Cairo & Alexandria Stock Exchanges (CASE) along with his delegation. He explained the latest processes and systems that have been adopted by DFM.
Mr. Sourial got a first hand glimpse into the working of the DFM and was guided through the DFM trading system, the clearing and settlements system, cross listing procedures and the trading floor facilities. In turn, the Egyptian delegation explained the main functions of CASE and the trading systems in place at the CASE.
Concluding the CASE delegation's visit, Mr. Essa Kazim, Director General, Dubai Financial Market:
'This visit strengthened the relationship between the DFM and the CASE. We are open to further cooperation opportunities with the CASE especially in terms of cross listings and monitoring IPOs. I am sure that the two exchanges will work more closely in future.'
