Sharapova faces Henin in DDF tennis final |

 DUBAI — Maria Sharapova edged past Lindsay Davenport 3-6, 6-1, 6-3 in the second semifinal of the $1 million DDF Women‘s Open Tennis Championship at Dubai Tennis Stadium yesterday to set up final with Justine Henin-Hardenne of Belgium.
Earlier, fourth seed Justine Henin-Hardenne of Belgium stormed into her third final here by beating Svetlana Kuznetsova of Russia 6-2, 7-5.
The semifinal match was suspended in the evening due to the rains when the scores were 1-1. But when play resumed after 3hrs 30mins delay, the Belgian, winner here on two occasions, took control and with her stunning back drives dismissed her Russian opponent.
