India's Sania Mirza has climbed two places to the 36th spot in the latest Women's Tennis Association (WTA) official rankings released Monday.
The 19-year-old, who reached a career high 31st rank last October, now has 537.75 points from 22 tour events.
In the doubles, Sania has jumped nine places to 64th spot with 522.50 points from 13 tour outings.
She won the Bangalore Open doubles finals along with South African Liezel Huber earlier this month though she had a second round exit in the singles event at the same tournament.
In the Dubai Open last week, she lost in the opening round of the singles event to Switzerland's former World No.1 Martina Hingis and also had a second round exit in the doubles event along with partner Maria Vento-Kabchi of Venezuela.
