Dubai Development Board is an Government body which provide financing facility for the construction of real-estate projects for limited income citizens.
Dubai Development Board is established in 1975 to provide property management
Facility and the provision of loan facilities to finance buildings erected for investment purposes. This was the first initiative of its kind in the UAE, issued by His Highness Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum .
Dubai Development Board has a large number of private and public buildings under its supervision. DDB is dedicated to providing the residents of Dubai with responsive, fair and efficient services through the diversity of its programs and the commitment of its employees.

The Development Board approved the distribution of the Real-Estate Annual Manual with the collaboration of Dubai Real-Estate Group in its 2nd edition for 2006 after the 1st edition met a remarkable attention and actual response from all companies and establishments involved in the real-estate sector.
The Dubai Development Board supports all efforts and initiatives contributing in servicing the real-estate section in general as it constitutes the essential economic cornerstone.
Dubai Development Board, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai eGovernment to develop electronic channels and integrated services in property finance, property management, and other activities under its jurisdiction.
This partnership between Dubai Development Board and Dubai eGovernment reflects the growing conviction among government sectors.The development of property rentals in Dubai for the general community, Dubai Development Board is challenged by the size and scale of operations.
During 21-24 Nov -2006 Dubai Development Board took part in the 2006 campaign of "Let's clean the world" organized by Dubai Municipality by adopting a major campaign for cleanliness at Al-Qusais area. More than 50 employees of the Board have participated in these activities
The Development Board has organized a workshop for employees who occupy leading and supervisory posts for explaining the institutional performance measurement program within the training plan laid by the Board
Regarding this workshop is considered among a series of programs intended to be organized in various fields aiming at doubling the training dose to employees at the various levels. This course program included issued of a paramount importance focusing on the concepts and idioms pertaining to institutional performance measurement as well as elements of measuring this performance, in addition to the necessary technical steps for measuring this performance.
