Gulfood is the region's largest and most important industry event of the year. Gulfood is a strategic platform for both buyers and sellers to conduct direct business face to face. The exhibition is a showcase for manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers from around the world, representing all of the key sectors within the food and hospitality trade.
This year's Gulf Food, Hotel and Equipment Exhibition (Gulfood) will held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, Dubai, from 19th February to 22 February, 2007.
The Gulfood, Hotel & Equipment Exhibition is the exclusive forum for the hospitality industry in the Middle East and the most important showcase for catering equipment and food as well as related products, services and technologies.
Gulfood 2007 brings together more than 2,000 companies in the industry from over 70 countries, and will welcome a host of new national pavilions and countries. Exhibitors from countries such as Bangladesh, Colombia, Ethiopia, Georgia and Latvia will be taking part in Gulfood for the first time, and national groups from Chile, Latvia, Ireland, Syria and Brazil will stage their inaugural presence at the trade fair.
With 40% increase in exhibition space, Gulfood 2007 will be the largest ever presentation in the event’s history. The 12th edition of show has been expanded to occupy an additional 15,000sqm in the new Zabeel Hall, and all exhibition space is fully sold out.

There are two more supporting events held in conjunction with Gulfood 2006 are as under:
- The Emirates International Salon Culinaire organized by The Emirates Culinary Guild featured seminars, culinary competitions, and demonstrations. 1,000 young chefs from around the world are expected to participate in the Salon Culinaire to pit their cooking skills in live demonstrations and competitions.
- The Dubai International Food Safety Conference organized by the Dubai Municipality Public Health Department. The conference will address topics concerning food safety systems, regulations and best practices, as worldwide authorities bring new regulations and health measures into force, and food safety continues to be increasingly under the microscope on a global scale.
Gulfood 2007, is the new dedicated focus on food packaging, labelling and processing equipment. Gulfood 2007 will present a designated showcase of the latest technology and innovative offerings in this segment.
Gulfood is strictly a trade-only event and is open for business and trade visitors only, proof of which must be provided at registration. General public and children are not allowed into the exhibition.
Dubai’s position as the world’s third largest re-exporter and strategic hub for markets across Middle East, Africa, India, Pakistan, Europe, Asia and the Americas, also reinforces Gulfood as a must-attend event for the industry.
