‘Eid in Dubai – Eid Al Fitr’ celebrations begins in grand style at Modhesh World

 Celebrating and rejoicing the high excitement related to the much-awaited occasion of Eid Al Fitr, Modhesh World welcomes visitors from around the world. The day one of the festival saw numerous exclusively incredible attractions. The fun events ensured non-stop adventure and entertainment for families and children from all over the world.IMG_6465

The most-awaited ‘Eid in Dubai- Eid Al Fitr’ celebrations of Dubai’s beloved mascot Modhesh, got off to a remarkable start as soon as Modhesh World opened its doors. The first attraction featured a huge celebration carnival carried to life by a group of colourfully costumed performers.

Attracting all with the festive ambiance in every nook and corner of Modhesh World, the carnival exhibited through each of the eight halls of Modhesh World to meet and greet visitors and guaranteeing an unforgettable time for one and all.

The fun continued, as after the carnival a superb musical show by ‘Tweez Band’ embodied children’s much-loved characters in unique ways. ‘Mr. and Mrs. Green’ began their show with an interactive and appealing educational stage show helping young visitors on the importance of saving the environment. Another exciting show ‘Nutty Scientist’ fascinated young science fans as the genius scientist networked with children through a number of marvellous learning activities on stage.

IMG_6537 (1)By bringing joy on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr, exceptional and memorable, children were thrilled to see one surprise after another at Modhesh World. Throughout the day as Tweez Band’s toy characters adored by children of many ages and the couple from Mr. and Mrs. Green show SPENT TIME with youngsters while posing for pictures and meeting their numerous fans. Another big surprise for visitors was the thrilling release of balloons in the air once all the carnival characters got togather on the Modhesh World stage. Along with upbeat music and soundtracks, the tempo further enhanced as kids got to dance with their favourite characters and show their best dance moves ever.

In a statement, the Media Centre of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and organisers of Modhesh World 2015, said: “The 16th edition of Modhesh World promises to take family fun to a completely new level and the remarkable festivities on the first day of Eid Al Fitr – when thousands of visitors from different nationalities took part in the spectacular celebrations – are a reflection of all the excitement and surprises that are in store for guests throughout this summer in Dubai. The huge influx of visitors at Modhesh World strongly reinforces its resounding success as a top destination for family-friendly entertainment. Modhesh World 2015 is also the biggest edition ever so far – spread over an area of over 34,000 sq m and hosting the largest number of attractions at a theme park of its kind in the region with each of its eight halls featuring a unique identity and adventure at Dubai World Trade Centre.”
