Celebrity Beauty Influencers attract fans to DSF’s Beauty District

Dubai Shopping Festival’s 21st edition has numerous surprises for both shoppers and make-up enthusiasts.beauty district
The Dubai Mall’s specified Beauty District is also a part of the Beauty-themed events of the festival. This exceptional venue has become a must-go-to destination for lovers of all things beauty, with prevalent make-up artists visiting the Beauty District to give tutorials to promising beauticians.

As the coordinator of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment – an agency of the Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) –has been operating and collaborating with retailers to make sure that the festival has advanced activations that endorse Dubai’s reliable beauty sector.

DSF has presented some of the world’s prominent international and regional celebrity make-up artists to Dubai for its present edition. The beauty professionals have been proposing their fans Meet-and-Greet opportunities, as well as instructions on creating their own exceptional style. The Beauty Theme of DSF began with the American make-up artists, Bethany Mota and Hrush Achemyan, as well as the Kuwaiti make-up artist, Sondos Qattan.

BethanyCelebrity guests, Bethany Mota, who is a famous diva through her YouTube make-up tutorials, as well as her appearance on Dancing with the Stars, said she was happy to have had the chance to visit Dubai and was liking her role during DSF. Bethany has spent her time being taken around to some of Dubai’s main attractions, she met with her fans and took photos with them.

Rania Abu Diab, from Australia, brought her children to the Beauty District to meet Bethany Mota, said: “It was a really great experience to visit the Beauty District and obviously my children were really pleased when they were able to get a photo with Bethany Mota. There is truly something for everyone at the Beauty District so it was great to spend some time catching up on all the latest beauty trends. DSF is a distinctive festival and not only because of the promotions, but also because of all the great events and activations that add value to the experience”.

American beauty expert and make-up artist, Hrush Achemyan also had a talk with the fansHurush at the Beauty District last evening, and said: “It was great to meet an Arab audience and it was great to offer my thoughts on how they could achieve the perfect look. There is a big difference between the Arab world and the Western world when dealing with beauty and make-up. Western culture resorts to make-up use on special occasions and depends on a more natural look. Arab culture uses make-up with regularity that is exciting to make-up artists around the world, which is why being in Dubai is a dream come true for any artist”.

The Beauty District also welcomed Kuwaiti make-up artist, Sondos Al Qattan, who is well-known for her ability to accentuate Arab beauty through her make-up techniques, leading many women and girls to follow her own style and use her tips and tricks.

Ayah Mohamed, a fan of beauty from Egypt, said: “The Beauty District experience was a great one and the Dubai Shopping Festival has been enjoyable so far. The new experiences this year has really made it exciting for everyone, especially as there are opportunities for entertainment and shopping at the same time.”

Pernia QureshiMany participants attending the Beauty District are picking up the fantastic DSF offer of a unique Beautycon Beauty Box. The boxes contain great beauty products from prestigious brands that are coming to the UAE for the first time ever.

Dina Ramzy, INGLOT’s store manager in Mall of the Emirates said, “I came to The Dubai Mall to support my colleagues working here at the Beauty District. INGLOT is using the shopping festival and the special Beauty District activation as a way of promoting new international style trends, tips and products.”

The beauty theme is going to continue for a whole week at The Dubai Mall, with the Beauty District being the main centre of attraction. It will also conduct various public tutorials for budding make-up artists while fans can also look forward to a number of internationally influential figures including social media celebrities who will offer beauty tips and tricks.
