Jumeirah Beach Park spans 12 hectares of parkland with children?s play areas, barbecue sites, food kiosks, volleyball areas, jetty area fronting on to the beach with lifeguards on duty. It is situated on Jumeirah Beach Road next to the Hilton Beach Club

This park is a marvelous painting of landscaping and environmental coordination. Looking down from an airplane, we could contemplate on architectural harmony mixed with a beautiful contrast of colors, where the blue gulf water floats on a golden shore followed by artistically designed green spaces.

The park was opened in 1989 on 13 hectares of land, to be the first beach park, overlooking directly the Arabian Gulf in Jumeirah residential area. Different earth levels distinguish the park, constituting a group of green hills encompassing recreational and games areas.

The Beach
Great number of swimmers are attracted to this beautiful golden sand beach. To maintain the safety of the beach visitors, the park has been provided with the necessary equipment and tools, as well as five watchtowers controlled by expert lifeguards and a specialized first-aid man to treat cases of accidents or drowning. Other aids are also available such as life buoys, artificial respiratory systems, rescue boats and a helicopter pad for the transportation of emergency cases by policemen.

Available Services Visitors may reach the beach through five wooden bridges distributed along the park shore. Visitors can enjoy sea view from the cafeteria located above one of these bridges or from chairs beautifully allocated above bridges.

Barbecue Area
This area is equipped with modern grills, in particular on the various levels of the green lawns.

The Games and Theatre Area

Three neighboring spaces were established. The first one is equipped with Beach Services, Children Games, Sport Facilities, Life Guard, Volleyball Court, Barbecue Areas, Restaurants, Snackhouses

with different wooden fixed games for all ages such as wooden houses, seesaws and slides. The second one comprises climbing games like ropes. For the safety of children, a big umbrella was fixed shielding the wooden games. The third space is a place for relaxation, it is furnished with seats and wooden umbrellas and a theater for multi concerts.

The Main Area
In the center of this area, lie the flowerbeds and stairs leading to a high region of green lawns surrounded by a great selection of palm trees and wooden umbrellas ornate with climbing roses. Green lawns and trees are largely spread on the outskirts of the main area, providing visitors with recreational.

The Rocky Garden Area
This region is characterized by its rocks and various kinds and sizes of desert bushes, in addition to seats distributed around the small hills splendidly floodlit at night.
